Job Purpose:
The student advisor is responsible for driving corporate access, alumni engagement, and marketing
collaboration to increase postgraduate enrolments and strengthen the institution’s brand
presence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Creating Brand Awareness
- Markets the brand in new areas.
- Does presentations at corporate events in order raise awareness of what RC has to offer students
- Cold call parents to market corporate clients.
- Represent the brand at industry expos.
- Facilitates stakeholder events and foster strong relations through the hosting of conferences and webinars.
Recruitment of students:
- Identify top alumni employers and distribute corporate learning materials.
- Host alumni and corporate engagement events, including postgraduate info sessions.
- Develop partnerships for corporate upskilling and brand visibility.
- Manage alumni segmentation, referrals, and success story features.
- Collaborate with Marketing on corporate targeting, campaigns, and lead management.
- Promote postgraduate offerings through events, LinkedIn campaigns, and marketing content.
Minimum Requirements:
- • Minimum Honours in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ postgraduate recruitment experience.
• Experience using recruitment systems.
• Own transport and willingness to travel

- Knowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework.
- Ability to manage time effectively.

- Ability to effectively cope with change.
- Deadline orientated and can work well under pressure.
